Philippines vs Singapore! 1-1!
And its a great day to be a Filipino.
The Philippines climb back from 1-0 to draw with Singapore with only seconds left in injury time to walk away with 1 pt.
Singapore scored the first goal in the 65th minute from an Aleksandr Duric, a Croatian born Asian?! Apparently, Croatia is part of Asia too! He could be one of those lucky Europeans who are descendants of Mongolians. I think so!
Sige na nga! Sabi nyo eh! They also have Daniel Bennett who is an Englishman born in England, raised in England, schooled in England, learned football in England, speaks English, looks English, smells English... but plays for Singapore.
And it doesn't end there! Agu Casmir who was born in Nigeria, to Nigerian parents is also playing for Singapore! And he don't look Singaporean. Fuck You!
Singapore whose population is 95% Chinese, does not have a single Chinese player in their team! What the hell is going on? Is this a national team or a club? Ahihihihihihhihi
Anyhoo, Duric heads the ball in for their first goal and the Philippines spends the next 25 minutes finding that equalizer.
Chris Greatwich who spent the whole 92 minutes running around like a headless chicken and was pretty much a big flop, receives the low cross from James Younghusband and nudges the ball past the keeper in the 93rd minute to score the equalizer.
Chris Greatwich was a last minute addition after Manuel Ott and Stefan Schrock have not been given clearance by their respective clubs.
